Walter E. Williams was substituting for Rush Limbaugh the other day and brought up a recent report about global warming on Mars. Walter solicited callers that knew why the temperature has been increasing over the past few years and said anyone who knew "where the SUV's were" should call and they would be immediately placed at the front of the cue.

Spending over an hour trying, I got through to the WABC New York studio. After explaining the reason for the call (to answer that burning question for Dr. Williams), the call screener said "Okay" and hung up! Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire!

There are three primary governments responsible for Mar's global warming problems. The United States, Russia, and the European Union. Each entity has placed or crashed a man-made scientific probe on the surface of Mars.

So, there you have it! These probes are very sensitive to extreme cold temperatures and, therefore, have on-board equipment to generate heat to keep the electronics from being destroyed. In the process, the surface of Mars has seen an increase in ambient temperature due to these man-made objects roaming the terrain. In some cases it's just large debris fields from the impact, but even that has an effect on the overall climate.

I almost forgot - There are several spacecraft that have passed through the Mars atmosphere during a "fly-by" and there are some still orbiting Mars. You guessed it. The friction caused by these craft also contribute to the temperature rise by generating additional heat.

Now, you know what Walter E. Williams does not know! The cause of Mar's global warming. Ha!

I'm glad I had the "opportunity" to enlighten you in the "spirit" of good clean fun. I will now retreat and mull over my next rant. All my best to all of you.....
